In May 2024, New Art Exchange launched the world’s first permanent Citizen Assembly embedded within the core leadership of a cultural institution.

Our VOICE Assembly brings together local neighbours from Hyson Green to make strategic decisions and help shape the future of NAE, ensuring the organisation is led by the community it serves.

To document and reflect on this powerful journey, I was invited to live scribe these four weekends, from May 2024 - March 2025. Through my eyes, experience NAE’s journey, transformation and commitment to sharing institutional power.
